Past fail

Posted by on September 1, 2010

I’m going to relive a painful memory with you.  Ok, it’s more hilarious than painful.

One day I was blissfully making dinner, and decided that baked potatoes were in order.  Harmless, right?  Not when I’m in the kitchen.

I scrubbed the potatoes and put them in the oven to bake themselves into deliciousness when there was a loud bang that came from the oven.  And this is what I found..

Moral of the story: poke holes in your potatoes or they will explode and leave potato shrapnel everywhere.

  1. Sunday

I nearly snorted my coffee across the room when you said “potato shrapnel”.

    Priceless!
